Coalition Statement
As grassroots conservatives, the Clare County Republican Party is dedicated to advancing conservative principles, protecting individual liberties, upholding traditional values, fostering community engagement, and safeguarding the Republican brand.
We build strong coalitions with like-minded organizations and fellow County Republican Parties to strengthen our nation while preserving Republican integrity. These partnerships amplify impact, share resources, and advance shared goals for Clare County, Michigan, and America.
Alignment with Turning Point USA, Club America, TPFaith & TPAction
These organizations empower young conservatives and drive grassroots activism. Key shared values:
- Free Speech & Individual Liberty: Vigorous defense of First Amendment rights, especially on campuses, against government overreach.
- Youth Engagement & Education: Teaching limited government, free markets, and conservative values to future leaders.
- Grassroots Advocacy & Election Integrity: Voter mobilization, policy advocacy, and fair elections.
- Biblical Citizenship: Endorsement and teaching of Patriot Academy’s Biblical Citizenship course (several CCRP members are registered hosts).
Alignment with American Legion, VFW & Christian Churches
These groups embody patriotism, service, and moral integrity — core to our principles of honoring veterans, supporting faith communities, and preserving traditional values.
- Patriotism & Veteran Support: Advocacy for veterans, strong national defense, and “God and Country” Americanism (American Legion).
- Community Service & Traditional Values: Selfless service, family principles, faith, compassion, and personal responsibility.
- Civic Engagement & Moral Leadership: Active citizenship, religious freedom, fiscal responsibility, and rule of law.
Alignment with Right to Life
We champion the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death. We support:
- Legal protections for the unborn as persons with equal rights
- Rejection of taxpayer-funded elective abortions
- Life-affirming alternatives (adoption, maternal support)
- Informed consent (ultrasound, waiting periods)
- Parental notification for minors
- Opposition to euthanasia for elderly and disabled
Alignment with Hunting & Gun Clubs
We stand with local hunting clubs to defend Second Amendment rights, hunting traditions, and self-reliance. Shared priorities include:
- Responsible stewardship, marksmanship, wildlife management, and outdoor ethics
- Access to public lands, conservation (e.g., Pittman-Robertson Act)
- Opposition to burdensome regulations and anti-gun legislation
- Youth firearm safety education and habitat protection in rural Clare County
Together we protect American traditions, promote conservation through hunters, and resist threats to our way of life.
