Hey neighbors! I’ve been thinking about ways to help our local governments reduce costs and improve efficiency—especially when it comes to creating and maintaining municipal websites. Many of our smaller townships don’t have the budget for full-time IT staff, nor should they need it, given their more focused responsibilities.
Our County, on the other hand, has a full-time IT professional, which makes sense given the scope of their work and the size of their website. But for townships, a simple and effective approach is key! That’s why I’ve put together a one-page guidance document to help municipalities create and maintain websites in a way that’s affordable, easy to manage, and serves the community well.
A well-structured website doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive—it just needs to be clear, accessible, and regularly updated. With a little guidance, townships can maintain a professional online presence without adding unnecessary costs.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback! Let’s work together to ensure our local governments have the tools they need to serve our communities efficiently. 🏡✨ #LocalGovernment #EfficiencyMatters #CommunityFirst
